Struggle to find the time to get your bike in to our store for its servicing requirements?

We are offering to all customers who fall within the boundary in our map shown an uplift and return service. (this has now been extended to Largs and all households in between Ardrossan & Largs).

This service is provided on "Platinum Servicing" only, see our detailed description above. Your cycle should be in our workshop for no longer than 1 week, we will keep you updated while the bike is in our store.

PLEASE NOTE : If after uplift & assessment to complete the job and your choice is to not proceed, a surcharge of £35 will be withheld from your payment. This would be to offset time spent on uplift/re-delivery/assessment etc.

Also : If your cycle has seen good use, it is likely some parts will require to be replaced within the service. These parts, if worn, seized or damaged may be required to be replaced & essential for your cycle to be in a functional and roadworthy condition.

If you are considering booking in for a Platinum service it suggests you are serious about getting your bike to its maximum potential, Post servicing it is very important you continue to maintain its performance and prolong the lifespan of the components. We have listed many products accompanied with tutorial videos for your convenience.  We would consider some of these items to be essential. Check out the maintenance products HERE.   

The uplift & return service only applies to Platinum level servicing.

#Does not include servicing of suspension or hydraulic brakes#
#any hydraulic brake bleeds and/or suspension servicing would be charged separately from  the work carried out below#
Includes carefully washing frame, forks and wheel rims.
Degreasing any dirt/crud from chaining's, mechanisms, sprockets and drivechain to ensure top performance.#
#Within the Platinum Service Chainsets, chains, sprockets/cassettes are removed from your bike and de-greased/cleaned individually#
Spokes tensioned, Wheels checked, spokes tensioned & retrued if necessary, Gear and brake cables lubricated.#
#It is fairly common that gear & brake cables are replaced within service packages, this is a fairly inexpensive process & maximises the performance in braking & shifting
Gears and brakes adjusted and fine tuned to maximum performance.
Tyres inflated to correct pressure. Every component checked, adjusted as necessary or replaced.
​Check all nuts and bolts are checked & torqued accordingly.
Cycle will be polished on completion of job.
Price quoted includes degreasers, lubricants, polish & ceramic coating. (Finish Line & Gtechniq products Used)
Final invoice will include a detailed report on the cycle and the work carried out.
Please Note:  A “Service Surcharge” of £5 (per area#) will be added to your final bill if your cycle required any internal work on wheel hubs#, headsets# and/or bottom brackets#.
All prices quoted above do not include any replacement parts required on your bike. 

New addition to Platinum Servicing :

Note : The ceramic quick coat applied within this service package will last approx 6 months, there is a higher grade application which can be purchased as an upgrade on your service package.  With the upgraded ceramic coating, your wheels, cranks, derailleurs as well as your frame & forks get treated. Coating applied by hand and "brushed" on relevant surfaces , more extreme dirt repellency with greater protection will be guaranteed with the upgrade and you can expect protection for 2 yrs !!

FOR THE UPGRADED CERAMIC COATING YOU MUST TICK THE REQUIRED BOX WHEN BOOKING BIKE IN,  AN ADDITIONAL £40 WILL BE ADDED TO YOUR BILL IF CHOOSING THIS UPGRADE.

If the relevant box remains unchecked, standard ceramic quick coating will be applied to your cycle.

BIKE CERAMIC QUICK COAT

As well as all of above we are now including a Ceramic Quick Coat to your bike frame & forks if choosing Platinum Servicing, after final polish of your bike, this product/service will be carried out on your cycle as the final stage of the process.

Bike Ceramic has been formulated to minimise adhesion of foreign objects such as brake dust, road grime and mud. It offers up to 24 months of protection and can be applied to all types of finishes including paint protection films and vinyl.

A new service option for the rider that wants unparalleled chain lubrication. By ticking this option an extra £10 will be added to your final bill.

Wether this be a new drivechain fitted during your service or your original chain, Irvine Cycles bike technicians will independantly dip your drivechain in Finish Lines revolutionary new Halo premium hot wax technology. Prior to dipping in the hot wax your drivechain will have been deep cleaned to ensure all existing grease, dirt and lubricant are completely removed, only when fully dried post cleaning will we undertake the waxing process. These steps are essential to provide the best results.

Please note : We would only recommend this service to new chains or original drivechains that are in good order. On new quality chains, we would expect good results for around 450km if riding in fair/dry weather conditions.  If you ride frequently in wet weather conditions we would recommend using a dedicated wet weather lubricant rather than this hot wax procedure.

PERFORMANCE INGREDIENTS
